Facilities Planning Unlocked - Session 1
Calling all Superintendents, Business Managers, Facility Directors, Facility Planning Staff, and Environmental Health & Safety Professionals! In partnership with South Central Service Cooperative, ICS is offering Facilities Planning Unlocked. With expert-level guidance, this hands-on series will provide the keys to unlock the potential of your long-range plan.
During these sessions, ICS will provide best practices for those who do what across facilities, finance, and administration, identify funding sources for established needs, and outline communication strategies that foster community engagement.

- A fully prepared LTFM plan for FY27

Session 1
Module 1 – Organize and Engage
Learn how to establish the foundation for effective facility planning by defining district goals, operational needs, and performance expectations. Breakout exercises support teams in identifying priorities and engaging key stakeholders.
Module 2 – Assess and Analyze Current Conditions
Instruction covers evaluating facility condition, space utilization, capacity, and instructional alignment. Participants will apply assessment concepts to their own buildings and data through guided activities.

- Session 2: Wednesday, April 8 | 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Session 3: Wednesday, May 13 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
