DCD COP
Join us for an engaging day of learning, collaboration, and connection designed specifically for teachers serving students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD). This in-person kickoff session provides an opportunity to network with colleagues from across the region, share ideas and challenges, and explore evidence-based practices that support meaningful learning and increased independence for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Together, we will build a strong foundation for the year's learning by examining practical strategies, sharing resources, and identifying ways to enhance instruction across academic, communication, functional, and transition-focused domains. Participants will leave with new ideas they can implement immediately and a network of peers to support them throughout the remainder of the virtual learning series.
Cost: $65 per person. Registration includes lunch and a make-and-take project to bring home.
