Gwenn Wolters Named Minnesota Champion of Career and Technical Education

Gwenn Wolters has been selected as a Champion of CTE for the state of Minnesota by the Minnesota Association of Career and Technical Education (MACTE), a prestigious recognition honoring her outstanding leadership and contributions to the field.
For students in the South Central Service Cooperative region, Wolters’ impact is felt every time they step into a hands-on classroom, connect with industry professionals, or discover a career path they didn’t know was possible. Her commitment to building strong, student-centered CTE programs has opened doors to new opportunities and richer learning experiences. The success of these efforts has gained recognition across Minnesota, where her leadership continues to shape how CTE supports and empowers students statewide.
With this state-level honor, Wolters will now advance to the National Association of Career and Technical Education’s review process, where Champions of CTE from across the country will be considered for national recognition.
As the national review process begins, Minnesota proudly puts forward a leader whose commitment to students, educators, and the future of workforce development embodies the very spirit of Career and Technical Education. Please join us in congratulating Gwenn on this well-deserved honor.
