Future Ready CTE is the South Central Service Cooperative's approach to supporting it's member districts through career-connected learning strategies and public-private partnership sub-grants. This initiative supports participating districts with workforce development coordination services to act as a liaison between schools and businesses. Innovation sub-grants allow districts to partner with local businesses to create unique opportunities in career and technical education.
The Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSCs) established the Minnesota Career and Technical Education (CTE) Consortium in January of 2022. The Consortium members leverage statewide and regional approaches to ensure robust CTE experiences for students with an eye on future success. The MSCs believe that career and technical education, delivered in partnership with business leaders, is the ultimate framework for a sustainable Minnesota economy.
CTE Impact Grants are a part of the Minnesota Service Cooperative career and technical education (CTE) pathway growth initiative with the purpose of providing robust CTE experiences* for students in grades 5 through 12. Our focus is to increase the number of students equipped with the career and college readiness skills needed by employers. We encourage projects that utilize creativity and flexible thinking to serve students in new ways, providing them with an opportunity for exploration, exposure, and experiences that guide their career and/or college choices and build pathways to pursue them.
