Welcome to LifeSmarts! Here students in grades 6–12 learn about consumer issues that impact your everyday life — everything from managing your finances, making smart consumer choices, understanding technology, staying healthy, and helping the environment — all with the goal of putting you in charge. South Central Service Cooperative is excited to serve as the state coordinating organization.

Educators can create a free account and use all the resources for free. Key resources include lesson plans, classroom activities, videos, games, study guides, quizzes and competition preparation for those that want to compete in monthly online competitions and/or the state competition held in February at the SCSC Conference Center.

Upcoming Events and Deadlines

Participation is free.

Returning coaches, be sure to register for the upcoming season.

Online competitions take place September–January.

The state competition will be held Feb. 11, 2025, at SCSC, North Mankato

The national competition will be held Apr. 24–27, 2025 in Chicago, IL
