Upcoming Events

Strengthen educator support systems through a collaborative, regionally supported induction and mentoring initiative.

SCMIM provides support for mentor program development, mentor and coach training, in-field coaching, leadership collaboration, and site team visits.

This work is supported through a grant partnership with Minnesota State University–Mankato, the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), and participating district partners, ensuring aligned, high-quality practices across the region.

What participants will gain

  • Support in developing and refining mentor programs
  • Training and ongoing development for mentors and instructional coaches
  • Access to regional networks, including regional induction leader teams
  • Opportunities for collaboration across districts
  • Alignment with state-supported best practices

Who should participate

This initiative is designed for district leaders, mentor program coordinators, mentors, instructional coaches, and educators involved in induction and mentoring systems.

SCMIM support is designed to be collaborative, sustainable, and responsive to district needs, with opportunities for ongoing partnership and shared learning across the region.
