SCMN Induction & Mentoring Partnership Orientation Session

The South Central Minnesota Induction and Mentoring Partnership Orientation Session is for school leaders who are tasked with onboarding and supporting new teachers. We recommend that at least one representative from each school district attend this meeting so that they can help the district make decisions on how to best utilize the resources supported by the grant for the upcoming school year. Participants can attend the session in person at the SCSC conference center in North Mankato or virtually.

This session will cover:

• A general overview of partnership activities supported.
• Suggestions for mentor selection and options for mentor training and support.
• Resources and options for developing pre-service onboarding and induction programming for new teachers with a focus on preparation for the first two weeks of school.
• Planned leadership activities.
