SCMIM SpEd Induction Program Leader Network Day 2 of 4

We’re excited to invite your school team to participate in SCMIM’s Special Education Induction Program Leaders Network, a four-session professional learning series designed to strengthen support for early career special education teachers.

Each session will focus on relevant topics and research-based practices. These sessions will also include opportunities for teams to collaborate on a problem of practice and network across schools. Because the learning builds across sessions, there is an expectation that teams will attend all four sessions.

Teams should consist of 4–5 members, including:

School and district leaders who support special education teachers

Instructional mentors who are or will be working with early career special education teachers

Specialists (e.g., Case Facilitators, Due Process Specialists) who support early career special education teachers

We are able to host up to 10 teams for this network. Please confirm your team’s attendance by July 15, 2025 so we can finalize breakout assignments and materials.

The training sessions will be held on July 23 and October 22, 2025 and January 15 and April 28, 2026. Participants are required to attend all four days.
