SCMIM Instructional Coaching Booster Session

The SCMIM Booster Session strengthens mentoring and coaching practice by revisiting the purpose of mentoring and its role in creating equitable conditions for student learning. Participants will identify the components of Optimal Learning Environments (OLE) and articulate the essential knowledge and skills pre-service and early career teachers need to ensure success for every student. The session emphasizes the use of foundational coaching tools, protocols, and language across the Teaching and Coaching Cycle to support focused conversations that accelerate teacher practice and student learning. Participants will also explore how the digital dashboard can be leveraged to support data-informed, equitable coaching conversations.
